Mmm tasty!

I'm enjoying some casual sewing lately. When I saw Sandy's pattern for this darling cupcake quilt, I knew I'd have to make a small version for Frankie's Christmas tree. Nevermind that I've never made anything for our own. But its cupcakey goodness called out to me. In a very pretty pastel way. Blanket stitching is in my future! I love blanket stitching, so mindless really, just sewing and sewing.

Have a wonderful day my friends. The 1260 is in the house. I feel better now.

**Edited to add that Sandy added more patterns to her etsy shop! **

OK, I had to go order the pattern. I resisted it earlier (probably only because I forgot about it). It's too cute! Love your pretty pastels, of course!

Ooooh, are those cupcakes ever going to be cute! Can't wait to see the result. And I hate to appear so dumb, but what is the 1260 comment??? I'll probably slap my head and say duh when you say it -- it's too early for me!

Too cute! Can't wait to see it when you finish. I am going to have to ask you for blanket stitching tips, I love the way it looks but I have never been good at it. See you soon!

Sweet!
I loves me some blanket stitchin' too. Try it around the edge of something (besides a quilt) and add a bead every other stitch. Awesome!

Wow, what a neat cupcake quilt! Love those colors. Will you blanket stitch with those threads shown??? I too, don't understand what 1260 is??? Nor, do I get what an etsy shop is??? Don't mean to appear dumb...and if I can ask one more question, I've looked back but can't figure out who Frankie is??? Thanks!
