All Good Things

.. must come to an end. Time for Frankie to head back home, school starts later this week. We did take some time for the last family day of the year.

In contrast to the gloomy day here at home, the coast was beautiful.. it was so sunny it hurt your eyes to look out across the waves!

The water and sky were both the bluest I've seen in a long time. There were a lot of people out walking, running, biking.. JUST OUT. The air was crisp and fresh and I think it was almost 60 degrees out. It was a beautiful day.

Got to see the pillows in action! We hung up some new pictures and Bret took care of some electronic stuff. We had a nice lunch out.

Then we hit the road. Came home and moved my fabrics back onto Frankie's bed again. I have room to sew! Hope to do some work in my sewing room tomorrow. Bret has the day off so we want to get some little chores done and then settle in for the night. No bright lights and parties for us! We're just a couple of homebodies!

So HAPPY NEW YEAR MY FAVORITE PEEPS!!! Be happy, be SAFE!!!! xop

Hi Pam! Happy New Year!! We are having friends over, but have to work tomorrow so we can't stay up too late! I need my beauty sleep! We have inventory on the 2nd so I'm looking forward to having that over with! Glad to hear you had such a wonderful time with Frankie. There's nothing like quality time with our kids is there? That was my favorite part of the holiday, I had all of my kids together, and they actually all got along! That's the best present that I received!

Talk to you soon, love ya!

Happy new year to you all too!! We are also homebodies and I don't do parties on New Year's Eve. We might have a couple of friends over though.

I like to watch movies and be mellow.

I just got my sewing machine back from the shop so I would really like to sew also. I want to finish putting my quilt together so I can start the quilting on it.

Happy New Year, Pam! Hope 2008 is filled with lots of GREAT things for you.

I get so homesick for California when I see those pictures of the Pacific. And please don't mention the temps again until Summer ... the temp right now is 1. {I'm jealous of you!}

Is that Monterey? Is that your baby girls living room? If so, what a mom you are!! You know my girl is in Monterey, too. Not a room in their duplex that wasn't touched by mom, so you and I are peas in a caretaking pod ;-)
Much love to you and best wishes for the coming year. Thanks so much for all your kind words and support this year. You're one in a million!
