Maybe

Just maybe it's going to rain. It smelled a bit like rain yesterday, and even some of the clouds looked like rain. I have something to quilt for Elizabeth, but I squandered the day running errands, watching the latest Pushing Daisies (seriously, could the sets and wardrobe be any better??) and reading outside on the swing. Don't rat me out ok? The squirrels were lazy too. You really can't blame them. The weather was perfect for it. I could have fallen asleep out there.. well except for the incessant barking of Rocket warning me about the squirrel.
Ok peeps, back to the sewing machine. Hope you guys have a great weekend!

How funny! I have never seen a squirrel in a "restful" position. Maybe he is just stuck?

PK, you can have some of our rain, we've got plenty. That squirrel is hilarious. Is he stalking or resting? I need to get to my sewing machine. What kind of machine do you use? I'm looking for an additional machine that does some decorative stitches. Thanks.

Is that squirrel just chilling up there? How funny is that...he must be waiting for DC to bass the rescue plan. You have a great weekend as well.

That squirrel is definitely taunting Rocket wish his nonchalant basking in the sun demeanor. Too cool of a shot, I've never seen a squirrel do that.

Rain, rain, rain here. Want some? But you have to come up and get it.

Cute squirrel. The wild animals in my neck-of-the-woods don't stay still for long. Probably because some other wild animal is after them. LOL

I'm going to have to catch Pushing Daisies on Hulu I think. Sometime!

And squirrels? I hate those rat bastards even when they are resting and trying to look cute!

....so much for the cuteness of squirrels! (I am getting that Tina doesn't like them!)....I guess they are akin to possums which look really cute but eat all the new shoots on plants in the garden...make loads of noise and have the most potent wee ever...just had to check out the bonnet of my new car......!!yikes that stuff is like acid! so they can look as cute as they like.....but I'm not buying it!!....sounds like you had a positively glorious day taking some "me" time....we get too caught up in things sometimes to remember that reading on the swing is a nice thing to do and we should do more of it......! you go girl!

Funny! I love this photo. I've never seen a squirrel enjoying a lovely day being lazy like that before.

Have a wonderful weekend, PKM!

Gathering nuts is very hard work. I actually know this from personal experience moonlighting as a squirrel.
