It still feels like Monday

I don't know what it is, probably allergies. They're bringing me down, along with last night's episode of House. What was up with that? Today I'm slow off the mark. There's my Kleenex and the next pile of fabric for the prototype. It needs tweaking. When it fell out of my head it was funky. I blame it on the allergy meds.
Thank goodness Elizabeth can help me with my Flower Sugar pattern instructions. Let me just say, I don't have her gift for clear concise instruction.
Ok peoples. Tell me what's up with you. And please, tell me I'm not the only one who didn't realize Easter was THIS COMING SUNDAY???? How did that happen?
P.S. HEY DID YOU SEE SANDY HAS A NEW BOOK COMING OUT???? CONGRATULATIONS SANDY!!!

I didn't realize until Monday that Easter was next Sunday. So yeah, You aren't the only one. I loved seeing Elizabeth's fabric yesterday. I'm a picture person. I get too impatient with lots of words. Maybe that is why I like the Japanese books. I can't read them!

Allergy meds can cloud the mind.

And, I totally agree - what the heck was that with House last night!

Hope your project tweaking goes well - you need PRODUCT!

I'm at home with a sick child. I'm working on an easter embroidery project and trying to figure out how I want to use my Lecien Atelier Akiko fabric panels. Hope your allergies will be better with the rain predicted for later today!

O.K. now I'm having to show great restraint in not going in and watching the DVR'd HOUSE! It's sun shining outside! I can't be watching house yet. I must wait until tonight. I must wait until tonight. I must wait until tonight. If I say it three times can I really do it? I saw the previews but man, you really have me wondering now! Ugh. I really don't like it when they (writers, producers, whomever it may be) mess with my shows! And I am not much into t.v. but I do have a couple shows. Urgh. O.K. I'm off to play in the sunshine or sew with my window open or something. ooxx`jod

I know what you mean about Easter being this coming Sunday...I stared at the calendar yesterday for at least 2 minutes thinking omg you are kidding me...gotta get to Costco and get that ham...and fill the plastic eggs and the traditional dye my dog Teddy's ears with easter egg dye...yep every year he gets a little "do" for the holidays!

I don't know what day is is ;) Thank goodness Monday is over and I am off on Friday- there is an end in sight. I am noticing the allergies coming on too. Stopping by Target tonight to pick up something to help with that- and of course probably 10 other things while I'm in there!

Have a great afternoon!

So sorry the allergy bug has you too...it's such a stinky feeling. While I have known Easter is this weekend I haven't done anything about it aka no kids Easter clothes, no basket goodies, and no plans whatsoever regarding food etc. Hope you get to feeling better!

Unlike Jody, I did not see a single preview and so I am still reeling ... reeling, I tell you ... from that House episode. Eek.

As for Easter, I just mailed some things this morning to my granddaughter and can only hope they get there in time.

Ugh.

Pam, apparently the actor who played Cutner got a job with the Obama administration...arts liaison or something like that. It was pretty depressing!

My allergies are starting up...I like Claritin myself! luv, Jen

Everyone here in Michigan are suffering from allergies and now sinus problems due to our weather (keeps switching from spring to WINTER). I feel your pain and hope you feel better soon.

I hope all you are suffering is allergies. But dang it, it seems to be messing up your creative process. I say, take some NON- DROWSY anti- histamines and that should get your creative process flowing again. Not to much going on here, I have been paper piecing a pattern and quilting customer quilts fast and furious. By the way, I realized on Sunday Easter was coming up fast on our heels.

I've got about as many kleenexs on my sewing table as actual fabric. Hopefully I won't mix them up!
I haven't seen that ep of House yet (you know I'm a Hulu girl) but did hear all about it. Couldn't they have made him just go away for awhile?? HONESTLY.

We just watched our dvr'd House the other night and I'm STILL in a House funk today. I was totally shocked - still am. Genius on the writers part... they got the audience to feel shocked and surprised just the the characters.
