Morning!

Good morning peeps! How goes it? Today I'm off to meet up with Sandy, she and I haven't gotten together in MONTHS, all my fault I might add, so we're rectifying that today. Yesterday was her birthday, so while I have her out of the house, sneak over to her place and wish her a happy birthday ok? I'd appreciate it!
Last week, or was it the week before??? Elizabeth and I went over to Alden Lane Nursery. That place is great and if you ever have the chance you should go. I picked up this amazing hydrangea. It's a new cultivar, Black Stemmed Hydrangea, and is it ever lovely.

There's talk of rain, AND I LOVE IT. Have a great day!

Is this the reddish stem lace cap? If not, then I have to go get one at Alden Lane. We are BIG hydrangea freaks over in my little garden. Did you see my little miniature hydrangea on my blog? It's called Pia and is a must! If you can't find it over there, it's at The Greenery in Turlock, a wonderful little nursery.

I have no clue why I didn't get one of those for myself that day. And reading above, it sounds like we need to head out to Turlock some one of these days!

I think I need one of those beauties for my yard! Hydrangeas grow well up here in the great northwest. Love the dark stems with light pink flowers.

It is absolutely lovely. We have some purple/pink ones near our home, and I just love them.

Ahhh, Hydrangeas remind me of home! (Oregon, way back when) Love them! I was just looking at some in the nursery yesterday!

Oh, I love hydrangeas! They don't grow here (neither do lilacs, whimper) and it breaks my heart. So pretty!

I just bought a hydrangea too. I hope mine will withstand the summer winds and the cold Midwest winters. Your plant looks great.
